Searching the Web

When searching the web I like to use Google.

I searched for Verizon Wireless in the Google search engine. I received 22,500,000 hits, and used the first choice available: http://www.verizonwireless.com. Most of the other hits were not relevant to the topic of my search because they were about billing or adding a line. Although it is commercial, I was able to find the information needed to create my website scavenger hunt.

To narrow my search I could type in "information about Verizon Wireless". When I tried this narrowing subject I received 12,900,000 hits and my first choice from the other search was still available and the first hit. When using this new narrowed topic I received more irrelevant subjects than my broader topic that was first used.
